PAST EVENTS
Whisper Walk
Our community came together for a meaningful walk to raise awareness and vital funds for ovarian cancer. Families, survivors, caregivers, and supporters gathered to honor those impacted by gynecologic cancers and to show that no one walks this journey alone. We were joined by local community partners, retailers, and health organizations who helped make the day informative and inspiring.
Thanks to the generosity and spirit of our participants, this year’s event was our most successful yet. We raised over $38,000 in support of ovarian cancer awareness and support programs.
Educational Presentation: Heredity and Genetics in GYN Cancer
This compassionate discussion on hereditary cancer explored how inherited gene mutations can impact cancer risk, the importance of genetic testing, impacts on family members and proactive health decisions. We thank Cameron Friedman, MS, CGC, Oncology Medical Science Liaison at Myriad Oncology, for leading the discussion.
Toast to Life Brunch
We gathered for a warm and uplifting brunch alongside gynecologic cancer survivors and their loved ones. This event was a heartfelt celebration of life, resilience, and the supportive community that surrounds us every step of the way. Together, we honored shared journeys, joyful milestones, and the strength found in one another.
Survivor Holiday Open House
This special evening brought together survivors for a warm night of community, connection, and holiday cheer. Guests enjoyed heavy appetizers, meaningful conversation, and a supportive space to share stories and laughter. From those newly diagnosed to long-term survivors, the gathering welcomed individuals at every stage of the gynecologic cancer journey and celebrated the strength of our shared community.
